Eccomi!!!

Chiedo perdono se ieri non ho aggiornato il blog. Oggi vi voglio un po’ parlare di questo blog e di come sarà suddiviso. Il tutto sarà una sorta di giornale virtuale con diverse rubriche e amici che nello scrivere racconteranno il loro modo di vivere la Moda.

Le diverse rubriche saranno:

·    LA STORIA DELLA MODA/ THE HISTORY OF FASHION: la rubrica tratterà della storia della moda. Si parlerà dell’alta moda e di come nascono le grandi marche; i diversi stili negli anni passati, degli oggetti e il perché del loro successo nel mondo della moda.

·    UNA STYLIST PER IL MONDO/ A STYLIST FOR THE WORLD: si discuterà della moda sparsa per tutto il mondo, ogni persona (bloggista) racconterà i diversi modi di vestire e di fare moda nei differenti paesi.

·    LA MODA ECONOMICA/ THE FASHION ECONOMY: la rubrica tratterà della moda più economica, quella che si può fare tra le bancarelle e i negozi meno dispendiosi.

·    CHIACCHIERANDO DI MODA/ CHATTING OF FASHION: verranno pubblicate le diverse interviste alle persone che fanno e parlano di moda.

·    ALTA MODA E DINTORNI/ HAUTE COUTURE AND MORE: tratteremo l’alta moda e le grandi atelier.

Che dite, potrebbe piacervi questo blog???

The Latex of Atsuko Kudo

Pochi giorni fa, mi sono imbattuta nelle foto delle sfilate di Atsuko Kudo, una graziosa designer giapponese, che vive e lavora a Londra, con un solo pallino: quello del latex.

Questo materiale è una sorta di gomma naturale che si ottiene dalla linfa lattea dell'albero della gomma, Hevea Brasiliens, una pianta tropicale del genere delle Euphorbiaceae. Quest'albero viene coltivato in America Centrale e Meridionale, in Africa e nel Sud dell'Asia.

I modelli sono super cool, una sorta di latex wear sofisticato che rimane molto aderente al corpo, non solo vestiti ma anche biancheria intima, che a me piace molto e la trovo veramente sexy.

Per la collezione autunno/inverno del 2010, la designer londinese ha collaborato con il brand italiano di lusso Cerruti, creando dei modelli in occasione dell’ultima edizione della Paris Fashion Week. Il protagonista di questa sfilata è stato il colore marrone che ha prevalso per la maggior parte dei modelli.

Questo style fetish e chic, è molto desiderato e ricercato nel mondo delle celebrità come: J.Lo, Lady Gaga, Kate Moss o Beyoncé.

Per acquistare uno di questi prodotti, non bisognerà per forza volare a Londra, basterà  collegarsi al sito dell’atelier londinese e (come dice Atsuko Kudo), armarsi di metro e molta onestà senza barare con le taglie. In un secondo momento, dopo averlo comprato, procuratevi parecchio borotalco per riuscire ad entrare nell’abito e attenti alle fonti di calore, potrebbe squagliarsi come un ghiacciolo al sole!!!

A few days ago, I hit on some pictures concerning some Atsuko Kudo’s fashion shows, a really nice Japanese designer that lives and works in London and that has only one big fad: latex.

This material it’s a sort of natural rubber that is produced from the rubber tree lymph, Hevea Brasiliens, a tropical plant belonging to the Euphorbiaceae genre. This tree is grown in Central and South America , in Southern Africa and in Asia.
Models are super cool, a sort of sophisticated latex wear that stays tight to the body, not only clothes but also underwear that I like so much and that I find very sexy.
For the fall/winter collection 2010, the British designer collaborated with the luxury fashion brand Cerruti, by creating models on the occasion of the latest edition of the Paris Fashion Week. The starring role of this fashion show was the brown color that predominated in most of the presented models.
This fetish and trendy style is very desired and looked for in the celebrity world as showed by: Lady Gaga, J.Lo, Kate Moss, Beyoncé.
It won’t be necessary to fly to London to purchase one of this models but it will be enough to visit the British atelier’s website and,(as Atsuko Kudo says), take a measure and honestly look at the sizes. After purchasing the desired model, try to get a lot of talcum powder to be able to fit into the piece of clothing and watch out the heating sources, it might liquefy as a popsicle in the sunshine!!!

La moda è Cannes

Eccomi di nuovo qui!!!

Allora che ne dite di parlare finalmente di moda ma al femminile? 

Visto che pochi giorni fa c’è stata la tanto attesa “sfilata” sul red carpet di Cannes, dove dive e non-dive hanno sfruttato il momento per sfoggiare i vestiti più belli, è d’obbligo spendere delle parole su questo grande evento.

Inizierei col parlare dei fantastici sandali, venduti all’asta per beneficenza, il cui ricavato è andato all’associazione amfar,  creati da Giuseppe Zanotti e Chopard: un “total rose” impreziosito da molte pietre (tra cui zaffiri e diamanti) e insieme, un bel paio di orecchini da abbinare, due accessori fantastici. In serata, dopo la presentazione delle scarpe gioiello sulla terrazza dell’hotel Martinez, sono stati indossati sul rinomato “tappeto rosso” dalla splendida modella Anja Rubik .

Colei che ha più avuto successo è Uma Thurman con un vestito di Armani Privé, l’ abito di colore blu elettrico mette in risalto il fisico statuario e la figura snella dell’attrice.

Invece chi ha fatto parlare molto di se è stata Courtney Love che sfoggiando un abito completamente bianco (firmato Givenchy) e senza reggiseno: bellissima donna ma ad una certa età bisogna cercare di non esagerare!

La “nostra” chiacchierata Elisabetta Canalis è stata vestita dall’amico Roberto Cavalli, un abito di color bronzo, stessa tonalità usata per l’abito di Rosario Dawson.

Delusione di questo festival è stata Louis Vuitton, una delle marche che preferisco, vestiti troppo eccentrici e con colori troppo vivaci. Un errore di stile in questo caso non si concede, ma si perdona a una grande maison.

Queste sono le cose che mi hanno colpito di più del Festival di Cannes, ora mi aspetto un vostro commento, critica, insomma tutto quello che vi viene in mette, basta che si parli di MODA!

Fashion in Cannes

Here I am again!!!!

So, finally, What about talking about women’s fashion?

A few days ago, a so awaited fashion show took place on Cannes’red carpet, where both divas and ordinary people took profit of the moment to show their most beautiful dresses, so I guess that some “extra words” on this important topic are required.

I’d like to start by talking about some fantastic sandals, designed by Giuseppe Zanotti and Chopard and which were sold on a charity auction whose revenue was assigned to the AMFAR Association: a “total rose” embellished by many precious stones (among which sapphires and diamonds) together with a nice pair of earrings to be matched with, two wonderful accessories. In the same evening, after the presentation of the jewellery shoes in the Hotel Martinez terrace, they were worn on the famous “red carpet” by the breathtaking model Anja Rubik.

 The person who had the greatest success was Uma Thurman who was wearing an Armani Privé dress. This electric blue piece of clothing highlights her statuesque and thin body.

 Who made a name for herself was Courtney Love as she showed off a completely white dress (designed by Givenchy). She was not wearing any bra: a wonderful woman, nothing to object, but at a certain age people had better not to exaggerate!!

 “Our” gossiped Elisabetta Canalis was wearing a dress designed by her friend Roberto Cavalli, a bronze – coloured same tone than Rosario Dawson’s dress.

A big  matter of disappointment in this festival was Louis Vuitton, one of the brands that I like the most. That was due to too eccentric and with too eccentric colours. Normally, in such an important occasion a drop in style should not allowed but it can be forgiven.

Those are the things that struck me the most in the Cannes Festival, now I’ll be waiting for your comments, criticisms, all that might come into your minds, as long as FASHION is concerned!!!!

The best style by GQ

Oggi vi voglio parlare della classifica che il mensile GQ, dedica al “the best style” dei personaggi maschili delle diverse serie televisive.

Una cosa veramente carina, perché finalmente si parla anche di moda maschile, che viene sempre sottovalutata. In più a noi femminucce fa veramente piacere vedere questi venticinque attori veramente belli.

In prima posizione come miglior “Stylish Men” c' è Ron Swanson (Nick Offerman), in tv con "Parks and Recreation", che conquista il titolo per i suoi accessori, i diversi tipi d’occhiali e, anche se il suo è un ruolo da duro e da “scaricatore di porto”  (come scrive anche il mensile GQ), è sempre ben vestito e alla moda.

Il quarto posto se  lo aggiudica il mitico Dr. Gregory House (Hugh Laurie), nella serie tv "dr. House – medical division", con questo capello spettinato, giacca, camicia quasi mai stirata e jeans. Ma, anche qui, la cosa che più risalta l’occhio è il bastone, accessorio di cui il Dr House difficilmente può fare a meno.

Invece il quindicesimo posto, e qui sono un po’ di parte, spetta al bellissimo Damon Salvatore (Ian Somerhalder), nella serie "The Vampire Diaries", già il suo sguardo e il ruolo da vampiro cattivo lo rendono un sex simbol, in più è vestito in modo piuttosto casual: t-shirt, jeans e mai sprovvisto di giacca di pelle, il tutto rigorosamente di nero. Che dire?!? Qui rispondo…quanto è figoooo!!! =)

Al sedicesimo posto Blaine Anderson, (Darren Criss), "Glee", la cosa che piace di più è questo suo modo di essere precisino e in divisa scolastica. L’idea è quella del bravo ragazzo, invece…

Qui ho riportato alcune posizioni della classifica, quelle secondo me più carine, però anche voi la potete guardare sul sito americano del mensile GQ e dirmi cosa ne pensate!

"The best style by GQ" (in English)

Today I’d like to talk about the ranking that the monthly magazine GQ dedicates to “The best style” of the male VIPs who have taken part in TV series.

That’s something interesting as finally male fashion is taken into consideration as it’s usually underestimated. Moreover, girlies really enjoy to see those really handsome actors.

In the first place as best  “Stylish Men’s” ranks Ron Swanson (Nick Offerman), known for his acting in “Parks and Recreation”. He gets the award for his accessories, the different pair of glasses and, even if his plays the tough man’s role (like a dockworker as it’s written on GQ) he’s always dressed up and trendy.

The 4^th place goes to the great Dr. Gregory House (Hugh Laurie), famous for acting in the TV series “Dr. House – medical division”, with his uncombed hair, jacket, hardly ever ironed shirt and jeans. However, also here, the thing that stands out the most is his cane that is an accessory Dr. House couldn’t do without.

The 15^th place, and here I am a little biased  =P, goes to the breathtaking Damon Salvatore (Ian Somerhalder), acting in the TV series “The Vampire Diaries”. It’s eye sight and his vampire role make him a sex symbol not to mention that he is dressed in a pretty casual way: t-shirt, jeans, never lacking in his leather jacket, all dressed in black. What to say?!? Here I reply: he’s coooool!!! =)

At 15^th ranks Blaine Anderson, (Darren Criss), “Glee”, the thing that is liked the most it’s his way to be through and in his school uniform. The idea behind is to give an image of himself as being the good guy but….

Here I reported just some positions of the ranking, those that according to my taste are worth considering. However, you can watch them on the American GQ website and tell what you think!

Ciao a tutti!!!
Questo è il primo post che pubblico su questo blog intitolato "L'Armoire": una sorta di armadio virtuale dove io, i miei amici e voi potremmo discutere di Moda e tutto quello che le ruota attorno!!!!
Perchè questo nome? La prima motivazione è semplice perchè è il luogo dove viene nascosta la moda e la seconda è che con il termine Armoire ("armadio" in francese), si può comporre la parola AMORE, il sentimento che io provo per il mondo della MODA.
Ora basta con le chiacchiere.....

Hi everybody!!!
This is the first post I published on this blog whose name is “L’Armoire”, a sort of virtual closet
where you, my friends and I could discuss about fashion and all the things that are related to it!!!!!
Why that name? The first reason is pretty simple because it’s the place where fashion is hidden; the
second reason is that by playing with the word “Armoire” (French term for closet) you can form the
word AMORE (Italian term for love), that is the feeling I have for FASHION.
Now let’s stop with chit chatting and…..
